Maritza – exactly what do you do?!
I often say, “I share my voice so that others can share theirs.”
Ultimately, I unlock deep, meaningful stories that shape people’s lives.
Since 2019, this has been through my podcast Things You Can’t Un-Hear; and recently, we’ve expanded into live events. This is where the real magic is unfolding – the raw, unforgettable and transformative tales of peoples lives, ones that awaken, enliven and invoke something deep within your core.

What’s your why?
Several years ago, I came across a quote by James A. Michener: “The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play… He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him, he’s always doing both.”
This is my why – creating conversations and sharing messages that inspire others.
If I discover something transformative, I can’t keep it to myself; I feel compelled to share it.
My Things You Can’t Un-Hear podcast and my platform has given me the space to do just that, exploring the topics that enable my community and I to level up; across all areas of mindset, wellbeing, and personal growth.
I know the value of this work because I’ve lived the opposite. Before launching my podcast, I spent years in roles and situations that didn’t spark joy or purpose, and I viewed life in a limiting way.
To now be in a place where I get messages from listeners telling me the show has changed their lives— it fills me with deep gratitude and confirms the impact of following this path.
I also know what it feels like to silence your own voice. As a shy teenager, and into my early adult years I held back from expressing myself, too afraid to share my opinions or put myself out there. Today, it’s liberating to speak with courage and confidence, and this freedom fuels my passion to help others do the same.
Through my workshops, The Power of Voice, I guide individuals and teams to own their voice and project it with conviction. Many go on to create podcasts with my Guide Your Light Network, amplifying their messages to reach even wider audiences. Watching that ripple effect unfold is immensely, immensely rewarding – and this too has become my why.
